Reflective summer evening service

Over the summer, we are holding fortnightly reflective evening services, held on Wednesdays at 7pm. They aim to offer a space for personal prayer and reflection, a space just to 'be': a pause in our busy lives.

The dates for these services are:

Wed 22 June, 7pm, Yester Church
Wed 6 July, 7pm, Bolton Church
Wed 20 July, 7pm, Humbie Church
Wed 3 Aug, 7pm, Yester Church
Wed 17 Aug, 7pm, Bolton Church
Wed 31 Aug, 7pm, Humbie Church.

The Joint Public Issues Team of the Church of Scotland, the Methodist Church, the United Reformed Church and the Baptist Union of Britain have published a resource for churches, focusing on issues around the EU Referendum on 23 June. Have a look for yourself here!

A fishy Messy Church and other children's adventures

We had a great time at Messy Church on Sunday, exploring the story of the feeding of the 5,000 through crafts, bread-making, song and story - and sharing fish-fingers and chips! Thanks for coming along everyone!
